360 BALL

WHAT IS IT?

360ball, as the name of the game alludes to, is a racquet and ball game played in a circular court and was developed in the Garden Route, in South Africa. Although the game in a circle has its origins as a back yard contest between brothers Mark and John Collins who used to bounce a ball of a circular wooden disc, it is today hardly recognizable from its original format.

                    .
RULES & REGULATIONS:-

360ball is a ball and racquet sport played by two players (singles) or between two teams of two players (doubles) in a circular court. Players use the racquets to strike a rubber ball so that it bounces of a centrally placed disc. There are no sides to the court and play pivots around the disc as dictated by play. Each player or team has two shots within which to return the ball to his/their opponents by striking it in such a way that it first is set in the air (1st shot) and then struck again (2nd shot) so it bounces off the board. The use of two shots is mandatory. In doubles the ball is passed between team members. The aim is to outwit your opponents, tacticallly placing the ball out of reach. Teams score on every point, first team to reach 21 wins.The game can be played in an indoor court with glass sides or outdoor on grass or the beach.

Tennis, history of terms.

The Tennis is very popular game in the World. This game was created in XI-XII age in France. In that time it was known as «royal tennis». Historians is thinking that most of tennis terms was taken from French language.

  • The word «tennis» was original from French verb «tenez» («tenir» - to take, to catch in French). When players had serving, they yelled «tenez!»;
  • «Deuce» - was original from «? deux le jeu», in English it has the same meaning;
  • Score in tennis 15-30-40 origins from French words «quinze», «trente», and «quarante», or from quarters of an hour (15-30-45, but 45 was transformed to 40);
  • «Love-15» It is possible that it derives from the French expression for "the egg" (l'œuf) because an egg looks like the number zero.

BRAZIL PROTEST

            Brazil, which was in a great phase of economic growth, is now facing an economic crisis due to the devaluation of its commodities. This devaluation is caused by decrease in the exports to China (its main trading partner). Another point that leads to the decrease of the Brazilian economy is the state of undervalued company PETROBRAS, which is involved in corruption schemes with the government of Dilma Rousseff (current president).

       With all of this, Brazilians reacted by making a protest against the current government and calling for the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff. Millions of citizens across the whole country went to the streets with posters.

This article is describing some places and after you can choose the better.

Remember, you should have equipment, but don’t worry if you don’t have, you can rent it there.
Be careful, if this is your first time! You’d take some lessons with instructor.
